Anyone out there got a good App for a smart phone.

I'm looking for genuine ratings for posters of any app's they got.

-I got the scoring buddy (lite) for the iphone, pure muck and it's free.
-Rules of golf is always handy to have and is also free
-PGA tour & European tour App- are good for live scoring.
-PhilSecrets - The first few tips are free - good for the lefties
    Thanking you.

Yeah the Golfplan and Golfshot are linked.

Just downloaded Golfshot and it looks great. It must have every Golf Course in Ireland. Do the people you play with have to have an account with Golfplan ? Or do you just use it to mark your own game?

I use EasyScorecard on my Android phone. Great for recording scores. Adds to the drama coming into the final few holes when you can instantly see there is only a shot or two in it.

Golfshot is pretty good as already explained, mycaddiepro is a good golf gps and it's free, golfchannel for news, asapgolf is good for searching articles/news etc about players & finally I will also endorse Swingreader as has been mentioned before.
    All these on the iphone

They don't have my course but I just mail them our score card (scanned back and front) and they are going to add it on.

Yes people you play against must have an account with them on-line.

I aren't sure what phone you are running on, but on the iphone you can add any contact to the scorecard and as long as you have their email address it will email them the result straight after fininshing. Even if they are not a contact you can add there name and play/score against them.

Yeah it was all looking good up till Friday aftn where my iphone went kaput.

Was on apple media devices but no one can help me out.

I was running that new tracker app for speed cameras in the background whilst palying some tunes and then kaput. Ah well lesson learned. Its just over a year old.

Going to bring to a place in Gway tmrw and see what happens.
