We have floorboards down in the sitting room,32m2 ,they are a bit tired and ohalf fed up with them, was going to sand but have decided to put down cheap carpet for a couple of years while little monsters are still walking on the wild side.
Have got carpet of carpet right for 140e,pick up ourslves, but shocked at the price of underlay, preimium could be nearly twice the price of carpet and basic one nearly the same price.Question is do i need to put any down at all as is going on floorboards and not looking for long shelf life out of it and do I need grippers for it,any critisism, tips and advice gratfully received.
