09 Focus Style - BlueTooth Phone use

I have a 09 Focus 1.6 TDCI Style. It has a button next to the Radio/CD Player for Mobile Phone calls.

I understand that it is an extra and costs in the region of 250 Euro to get the module installed.

Does anybody have it and is it worth it?

The car is great but's it noisey. The noise comes from beneath the car (tyres on road) rather than the engine. I have tried other cheap hands free kits but the volume wasn't up to scratch.

You can't retro fit the Bluetooth to a Focus. If it's a later 09 model then it should be standard and you'll have a button on the end of the stalk on the left had side.

If the button isn't there, then you don't have it. If you need the phone kit then get a Parrott kit fitted.

You will need to have either Sony CD/6CD (with firmware 05-03-01 or later) or Blaupunkt NX (touch screen) satnav (with firmware 5.1).
This WILL NOT work with the 6000cd.

Thanks R.O.R. The button is there were you suggested but is not operational.

We phoned the Ford dealership whom we bought the car from. They quoted £215. They are based in Northern Ireland.

The car was first registered in June 09.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we have the 6000cd.

Strange, but I guess that's what you get for buying poor spec UK imports. Was standard on the ROI model at that time - just press the button and have an argument with the lovely lady as she can't understand all the words.

www.ffoc.co.uk is where I got the info (some of the site you have to suscribe to though)

I thought all 09's were fitted with the bluetooth. I got the SE speakerphone (attaches to sunvisor), sound is great and battery life is very good too
