iphone 4 jailbreak problem

    Hi all,

    Updated my iphone to 4.2.1, and of course cydia didn't work.

    Installed the teathered jailbreak and all my old apps started working again.

    The issue I have is when I launch cydia now there are no apps/packages there at all (all existing apps work fine).

    Anyone have this issue?

    I updated and jailbroke my iphone and ipad with no problems from cydia.

    Updated to 4.2.1 and ran the tethered jailbreak to install cydia. Turned off device. Ran redsnow again and booted the device tethered. (are you sure you did that?) Opened Cydia, did a complete upgrade. Turned off device and booted tethered again. Installed all my tweaks etc. Synced to iTunes and that was it.

    The only thing I can think of is that you havn't upgraded cydia fully, there was at least 6 changes when I upgraded or you havn't booted tethered although if your apps or working then it sounds like you have.
