    It's completely wrong, the person who made it has little to no understanding of what happened, the causes or the present situation. The Irish banks did not invest heavily in the international derivative market (that was the US banks), the EU did not advise Ireland to Guarantee the banks (the general EU strategy was much different to this) and the 300 billion Euro number quoted is a bull**** number brought up on Tonight with Vincent Browne by someone who can't count (they double counted loads of debt and counted things that the taxpayer isn't liable for etc).

    I didn't watch the second half of the clip since it was full of such crap from the start. Seriously, find a better source for economic news and analysis, I recommend some of the articles on the Economist website from this week's issue.
