Footswitch for Fender Blues Deluxe. Can I use a generic footswitch?

    Howdee,

    I lost my footswitch along the way for my fender blues deluxe. Would a generic footswitch do the job?
    There is only channel 1 and 2....

    EDIT: Stupid me went messing with the amp after I posted this thread, and yes, a generic footswitch does work..
