    Hi all

Im to look at a 4wd international 956xl, year 1985 friday morning but want some advice…its suppose to be fairly straight old tractor but the 4wd shaft is off it and the seat out with the mat lifted up for some repair reason , starts and drives ok but these 2 things kinda off putting so would like to know what things should i look out for and the main problems with these tractors

Any advice appreciated as im thinking of buying

    Thanks

he says he has no longer any use for it and was using it on 2wd around the yard.. says it needs hardy spicer to repair but not sure what the worst scenario here, is it front axle replacement etc

the 4 wheel drive shafts are renound for going in those tractors fortunately it's a simple fix all you have to do is drop down the cover attach the bearing and connections at ether end and put the cover back . a 20 minute job once you have the parts

well hes has to get €3500 the way she sits ...surely not bad price even if you had to spent some money on it...suppose to be a good tractor these and gives much less bother than the newer case model
