    Hey folks,

I want to remove a small rad in my kitchen as it is in the way of my fridge door.
I have GFCH, can I just shut off both pipes, remove and drain rad then cap the pipes for extra security.

Will the heating be ok or will there be anything else I would need to do?

You got it in one!! Just cap the pipes. It'll be just fine. If you're removing it permanently, you could cap them under the level of the screed.

I take it I would have to cut into the pipe work for that!
