Just failed NCT on emmissions for 07 320. The Lambda value at 2700rpm was 1.89. The tester guy was saying that its running way too lean and not to drive it hard until its sorted, he also pointed to the oil temp which was 99C, reckoned it should be 81ish. He said the engine light came on twice during the test. any ideas?

My guess would be replace the Lamdba sensor/O2 sensor causing the fault. But maybe get a diagnostic scan test too just to make sure its
the problem. Good luck.
