Loving it so far... I can see the Vangelis influence in some of it, and other parts almost feel like you're listening to the Mass Effect OST (which is a great thing!!!)

Yeah I'm really liking it too, really want a proper album now and a tour!

edit: there's club versions coming out too, they're meant to sound good.

Got my grubby little mits on the 2cd pack on Fri. of last week. I wil put the following disclaimer in, Daft Punk could record a version of "Tie me kangaroo down sport" and I'd probably like it.....but it is really good, esp. when played on a good system (listened to it in the car first). Going to the preview (I will not call it a "Premiere"!) screening on Wed. so looking forward to that too.

So I was in Tower Records today and they only have the ordinary copy of the soundtrack not the other edition. So i went to HMV and they DONT EVEN HAVE IT OUT on the shop floor!, i asked them and they said didnt get a delivery lol.

So can someone tell me where i can get the limited edition hard copy in dublin City as i dont have a credit card to get on amazon/online.

Also i'm trying to ignore all reviews and peoples thoughts on it too until I hear it myself.

Best advice I can give you is to ASK for one in HMV Grafton Street (surely they're bound to get at least 1). Failing that, order one in either HMV or Tower, but be quick as Special or Limited Editions tend to be deleted quite quickly after they're released.

Thanks for the reply ButtersSuki, I'm just back from Tower, I bought the standard version. Ah well. Love the small booket inlay, nice. Still I am waiting until I get home to listen to it.

Yeah i was in with Tower yesterday with a girl i know there, she was saying they were not getting the limited edition in at the moment as was too expensive for them to carry. I still cant get over that HMV on Henry st DID NOT have it out on display at all! Shocked like!

Anyone looking for the 2cd digipack, there were 5 copies of it in HMV Henry Street last night. Had a look in the now tiny dance section on my way to the Preview Screening and they were there.

The movie itself? Visually impressive (and not just the effects, check out Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett!), but seriously lame story. Soundtrack sounded great in the Savoy though.:)
