No you won't, both the analog and digital signals are already coming into your house, you just don't have a digital box to decode the signal and the wall box will need to be changed where you get digital but even if you have digital you can continue to run the co-ax straight to the TV anywhere in the house you don't have digital.

Note however that a non-recording digital box for the bedroom only costs 5 euros per month, I found that the picture quality on the analog channels was slowly going downhill so I jacked in the analog and went digital everywhere.

Though UPC are offering MORE on Digital than Analogue, because they will eventually turn analogue off.

    Wasteful of space
    Inflexible
    Poor quality on Cable
    Encryption problematic

Rather than going digital UPC why not go FREE with Freesat and Saorview. excellent digital picture quality, and incredibly low monthly charge - it's FREE.

    A no-brainer.

UPC is good for Broadband, which you can get without the TV service.
