I know the norm for insuring engagement rings is to cover it under your building and contents insurance however, I dont currently own a house and so this is not an option! Does anyone know of a company that will insure a ring of its own accord? There must be other people in this situation and I definately cant let it go uninsured, Im living in fear of losing it at the moment as it is! :(

You can take out a contents only home insurance policy to cover say contents in rented accomodation & also include your engagement ring under this policy.

just to add you need to specify if you want the ring covered outside of the property. Which makes sense if somebody will be wearing it :D:D
