Friends List

Just wondering do many people Boards use the friends list on their profile?* Or is it just another one of the tabs on the side of the page that you never bother with?

And if you do use it do you know the people?..have you made any good friends or is it just a nerdier version of facebook where people compete to see how many friends the have?

*I am already aware that I am billy no mates:rolleyes:

This feature seems to be used lightly on boards, in comparison to facebook , say. I think this is fine, tbh, prefer it to the FB model where you are subjected to every brainfart from people you barely know IRL.

Most of mine are people that I know offline or people on boards (and from other places) that I have talked to a fair bit or had dealings with for one reason or another...

    🤪

I'd know most of the people on mine.
The rest are people i get on well with.
I don't have a huge amount of friends on it though, cos don't use it for anything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 58,456 ✭✭✭✭ibarelycare

Just had a look at my friends list. 45 friends and don't think I've even spoken to a few of them  Some are boardsies I'm friends with IRL, some are ones I've met once at a beers and others are ones I may have swapped a few PMs with.

I've a few friends on my list but have never met any of them in person.

However, that's not surprising as I am not actually a person.

Easy. It's a big number. Bigger than 1 million, but less than 1 billion.
