    Hi All

I'm looking for a good deal foe the iPhone4. I'm currently with o2, have been with them since the days of Esat Digifone. It's nearly 15 years now . I called them to ask about possible upgrade. They offered me an upgrade a couple of months back as part of the apple deal allowing you to buy out your old contract & then pay the value of new phone. The total cost is around €540 for a 16gb iPhone 4.
The apple offer is now expired so I can't go down that route.
I'm actually thinking about a sim-free phone and then just get a rolling month to month contract
    Any help will be appreciated.

15 years?! Do you spend much a month? Tell them you're going to leave unless they give you a deal to stay. The "retention" team in O2 is who you are looking for.

    Thanks for the reply.
I spend on average €60 a month. Its not great but I hope they can sort me out regarding a deal ;)

Why would you give 02 €540, that's crazy....! You'd get the phone SIM-free off Apple for not much more!

if it comes to it, you are free to port to any of the other networks and keep your existing number. Port to Vodafone for example and you'll get the IP4 for €279 I think - with an 18 month contract.
