Is there any way to set cookies in vlc? What I want to do is log in to rapidshare in vlc somehow and then be able to stream a video.

Nope. I suggest you use Windows Media Player or something for that. Or your web browser using a media player plugin. How would you normally stream video from rapidshare?

I wouldn't normally stream from RS but I know if i find an xvid on that i can download without a cookie on some other server, I can put the URL into the open dialog in VLC and stream it immediately. This doesn't work with rapidshare because I'd need to log in and set the cookie first. Its not that important to me as I usually have a fast enough connection but i'd like to have the option if i'm watching something i'm not bothered about saving
