    Hi all,
I'm new here, i was just hoping to see if any one has any information on a sword that i inherited from my late granddad.

i believe it to be an Rajput Tulwar Sword With Koftgari Hilt from which i found out after finding it on this site http://www.swordsales.eu/Rajput-Tulwar-Koftgari-Hilt.html which say's it is a cerimonial sword from india around the late 1800's. but i can't seem to find any more about it.

if anyone has any insight, information or link that would be great.

    Thanks
    (i have attached some pictures)

    Lovely handle !
They're always worth more than they fetch .
A lot of work and skill involved to make such a thing .

yes, not too many of them around i'll bet.
The chap who owns the 'swordsales' site (linked above) say's that he sold his one for around £700 (GBP). i think the hilt on mine is different to the one on the picture on his site.
