Keep an eye on adverts.ie, they crop up there from time to time, also charity shops seem to get them too, but remember that drives are often knackered as they are full of moving parts and unless used get gunked up.
If ebay.ie doesn't have them, ebay.co.uk most certainly will, and they will typically ship to Ireland, even if they didn't specify so in the initial auction page.

good place for amiga stuff is www.amibay.com

basically a forum of commodore enthusiasts who buy, sell and trade amigas (and other stuff). payments through paypal

I bought an amiga 1200 from there with some extra ram and a 4gb hard drive (well a cf card acting as a hd)

even if there is no-one selling one, you can post in the requests section and someone might get back to you.
    that's what i did

    check it out

I was thinking the exact same thing. There's some things in life I do not want to know, the thoughts of valuable retro goodies getting fecked about the place is one of them.

Sorry bout giving you that nightmare vision!!!
As long as the sender wraps whatever it is real good (and i cant emphasize REAL GOOD enough) it should be ok.
Alot of companys palletize parcels now so there isnt as much handling now as there used to be.

Thanks for the posts guys gonna see if i can fit an amiga in beside the SNES without "her" knowing!
