Hi, I have a broken iPhone. Now it's not a screen or something physical which can be replaced, it's more of a software issue. Is there anywhere in Galway that can fix these, or will I have to send it off to apple?

Soak it in a bowl of warm water.

OOhhhh lordy I don't like hearing about Apple products going wrong. I pity ya so much and hope ya get it working real soon. I.m.h.o. Apple is to blame for a lot of technological erm "mis-haps." It takes as long to get sorted as well when something Apple-related goes wrong. I better stop now this is actually starting to make me annoyed now so it is.

Could ya not just try restoring it. If iTunes isn't recognising it try putting it in DFU mode. Google how to do it

Thanks guil, it is stuck in edu mode and iTunes can't restore it. I posted in this forum previously, I would have rathered this stated in the Galway forum because I mainly want recommendations of where in Galway I can take it to be fixed. Mods?

Ok what's on the screen when ya turn it on. Is it blank or is the connect to iTunes logo on it. The first one is DFU mode an the second recovery mode
For DFU just hold the power and home buttons till the apple logo comes up
For recovery mode ya can try tinyumbrella, just connect the iPhone and click kick out of recovery
