Hello folks. I have a problem with my lights. I think it is actually a problem with the switch/dial as I have changed bulbs etc. and the fog lights symbol is on as well. I have checked the fuses too.I was wondering has anyone else encountered this problem? If so do you think I could pick up a spare switch from a scrap yard or should I just get the part from the dealer? Anyone any idea how much these things cost? I spoke to a mechanic as well and he reckoned it was the switch as well after checking the car out.He also said he has seen this before with the Skoda.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Someone might be able help if you actually say what the problem is. All you've said is that there is one.

Are you in Dublin? If so, give Hamiltons off Camden St a call. They're old-school auto electricians, good and cheap.

I am in Dublin. Thanks for the recommendation for Hamiltons. I thought I had stated what the problem was.

I thought I had stated what the problem was.

You don't say what the problem is with the lights. All you say is that the foglight symbol is on.

Sorry. The fog lights are on when I don't actually switch them on if you know what I mean. One of the parking lights doesn't come on either and one of the rear lights doesn't come on.
