My parents (in their 70s) had a run in with the RPU last week. They were asked if their tickets (Cork-Malahide) were accurate. The RPU staff were polite and let them on their way.

RPU is not the end of the world.

Tickets direct from Cork to Malahide are rare, as it involves two trains and a bus over a period of 10 hours.

Em, should the RPU not have a full knowledge of all tickets?

If a Cork to Malahide ticket confuses them then god help them when they see an orange National Rail ticket from Cork to London via Holyhead;).
