BBC food is always good for basic easy to follow recipes, try their simple butter icing. Kitchen Compliments in Dublin are great for baking and icing essentials, as is The Kitchen Dresser in Portlaoise.

I did see this in Lidl's upcoming offers, for €8.99 it couldn't be bad for basic icing!!

    Avoca have a piping bag. Under a tenner - I think it's about €7

Can you tell me how much icing would be needed to coat the base twice? (flesh coloured)

And how much for the head? (pinky coloured)

    Thanks :D
