    Hiya

Have you checked the Irish Patchwork Society website (www.irishpatchwork.ie) for details about branches etc?

The Eastern Branch is teaching beginner classes starting on 8th January. The details are up on their website (www.easternbranch-ips.com) under the Beginners section. The 1st class is about knowing/understanding your machine so it could be a perfect class to take.

I don't think the Eastern Branch is having a December meeting so you will probably have to contact someone to find out more details. You can also email workshops.ipseastern@gmail.com

    Hope that helps!

Hi, I did a 1 day getting to know your machine course with a woman I found on gumtree. She has ads up all the time for different sewing courses which she runs from her home. Do a search for 'beginners sewing'. She is based in Dublin 15. Have to say she was really patient and I learned loads as up until that point I was having trouble just getting to grips with the instruction manual! :)
