I have also posted this in the music thread but thought I might have some luck here too!

I am trying to help my friend organise her wedding next summer in Meath. She is trying to find a good, lively wedding band that will have everyone up dancing and having fun. Her budget isn't huge and the venue is relatively small. Most bands seem to be offering themselves for about 2,000 euro for a set, some including a DJ. Anyone know of a good band that would do the event for cheaper? Or are any of you involved with wedding bands yourselves? All help or advice would be much appreciated!

OK. Hello and welcome to boards.
I would think it best, however, to keep your request to the music side of things for now. Posting across multiple forums is generally frowned upon here.
