Looking for a Wedding Band!!!

I am trying to help my friend organise her wedding next summer in Meath. She is trying to find a good, lively wedding band that will have everyone up dancing and having fun. Her budget isn't huge and the venue is relatively small. Most bands seem to be offering themselves for about 2,000 euro for a set, some including a DJ. Anyone know of a good band that would do the event for cheaper? Or are any of you involved with wedding bands yourselves? All help or advice would be much appreciated! Thank you, Hannah B.

These guys do band, DJ, Church music and champagne reception for under 2K, played at my sisters 50th, great nite.

pete fagan wedding band are meant to be very good they are based in dublin does anyone know anything about them?? also carouse wedding band based in waterford seem to have a great playlist, has anyone seen them perform??

I was at friends wedding over the xmas....great band... they were called..Dance On... they were much cheper than 2K!!...great atmosphere...think they have website....hope it works out!
