    if i am an AIB share holder and the share price is 38 cents and then government end up owning 100% of it what is my share price then ??
    HAS THIS BANK THEN BECOME NATIONALISED ?


    if i am an BOI share holder and tHE share price is 38 cents and then government end up owning 85% of it what is my share price then ??
    HAS THIS BANK THEN BECOME NATIONALISED ?

    Share price is 0.00 (If the government have 100% of the shares, then that means you don't). Whether you receive anything from the government when they take over your shares is debatable. Anglo shareholders were not compensated, and are unlikely to ever be.

    Yes, because it is 100%. Anything below 100% is part-nationalised.

    Share price is still 0.38 (or whatever it happens to be trading at). 85% ownership means that 15% of shares are still being held privately and traded on the stock exchange.
