Interested in modelling for art

    Hello guys,
    i've been thinking about this for a while and i think it would be fun.
    anyone know where i could find out how to model for a class?
    i am 28 male living in Dublin.
    hopefully someone can help me

    Could you contact art colleges directly? Phone them possibly?
    They might have vacancies.
    Also, anywhere that does portfolio courses might be interested too!
    Trinity have life drawing classes as well.

    be prepared op, it's not as easy as it looks!! ;)

    in the past i've modelled for art colleges, evening life drawing classes, sculpture classes, portfolio preparation courses, and 1-to-1 with artists and depending on the situation it can be an ok way of oicking up some extra money [you'll not make a living though].

    if you have an interesting teacher/leader taking the class it's better. sinead alderidge who used to teach in the IT in sligo [does she still?] stands out for me - i could listen to her all day - which is a bonus - as most of the time it's quite boring.

    I don't think 'fun' would describe it really. Most nude models I have seen look bored out of their skull.
