I've screwed up my trackpad!

I got completely frustrated with my constantly-disconnecting trackpad, and tried to fix it.
Then I got hamfisted, and accidentally broke the main connector.

    It's now missing a pin.

I can't seem to figure out if it's possible to order this as a spare, so what do I do now?

Or is anyone with micro-soldering skills up for a little job?

    Cheers.

I can't see what's broken in the photo. Socket or flat ribbon cable?

It's the 3rd-from-left socket pin -- it just broke off.

OK, that's truly not a DIY job. Send or take it to an Apple approved repairer.

Nobody solders any more so it will be the price of a new board (have a word with the IMF!)

Try Dean in BondiGroup, he is very good, fair and will not rip you off.
