    Hey guys,

I never did the travelling thing when I was in college and im working full time in a good job so I was thinking of taking 3/4 weeks off next summer to interrail around europe.

I was thinking limerick-rosslare-fishguard-cardiff-london-paris-madrid-barcelona-south of france(monaco)-rome-milan-zurich-vienna-bratislava-krakow-warsaw-berlin-hamburg-amsterdam-brussels-liverpool and then fly back to limerick!

    What you guys think?

That's an astronomical amount of distance to try and cover in 3 weeks. You're just going to spend the whole time in the train. 3 towns a week is the good number that I would usually aim for. Vienna deserves nearly a week by itself, Paris, Madrid and Barca too.

If you want to shorten that, I'd say London, Paris, South of France, Milan, Vienna, Krakow, Warsaw, Berlin... and if you have a 4th week, continue through to Brussels.

Agree that that's way too much to try & do in 3-4 weeks. It'd be much more enjoyable if you shortened that list down.

I went interrailing a few years back & could only get 3 wks off work so did Warsaw-Wroclaw-Krakow-Prague-Cesky Krumlov-Budapest-Zagreb-Sarajevo-Dubrovnik. That was more than enough places for that amount of time.

Maybe stick to a smaller area of Europe & try to cover less distance than what you've listed & you'll enjoy it more, otherwise you'll feel like you need another holiday after all that travelling!
