    Hi folks,
I'm enquiring on behalf of a friend who has been left a building thats in pretty bad shape. It's an old georgian house and she has been told it is a listed building. Question is - are there grants available for renovation? If so, what is the process here? Where's the best place to start ?
If anyone has any experiences with similar applications & success / failure etc, I'd like to hear them..

    Thanks

try http://www.igs.ie/default.aspx - this is the Irish Georgian Society and i've found them extremely helpful and polite in the past. They may be able to point you in the right direction.
if you are looking for a conservation architect PM me and I can recommend one for you.
