Help with my laptop

    I hope this is the right thread to be asking for help and if not could you link me to where is. Ok problem - i can't view verification codes or catchas (i think thats what there called) i'm using windows xp, last week i was exploring parts of my lap top that i wouldn't usually control panel etc i didn't think i changed anything that would have affected these image or word verification codes but i must have cas ever since i can't view em i'm using java and never had this problem before. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Download google chrome, its a lot better than Internet Explorer

    i've been to the mozilla troubleshoot page and tried what they say but to no avail i got a newer version of java recently could that have affected it ?

    It shouldn't. I have firefox, fully up to date and captchas show for me. Go to this site and say what you see at the top instead of the captcha (it should be at the top). Also mention any messages that pop up on the screen when you open that page and list your addons and plugins.

    Really? It works for me. Maybe you have an internet issue? Are you in work? Some places of work block certain websites and video playing, maybe thats interfering with captchas running. If you are in work, try again at home. Otherwise I'm not sure what to do.
