Ok, think i'm going to take the plunge and finally buy an iphone.

Will be on O2 network, so have free webtexts each month. Is there some good way of sending these using an iphone? Remember reading something here before, but i cant find it now

    Any help appreciated, thanks!

I don't get delivery reports.....are the phone networks that unstable that you're not sure if messages send? Or are you an obsessive boy/girlfriend/spouse and want to know if your other half is ignoring your message?

Ya can get delivery reports out of the box. With o2 I think ya put an r at the beginning of the text or recipient field

Also consider JellySMS which is another excellent webtext app for the iPhone. I have them both and each will have it's own strong points.

JellySMS can give you a delivery status - not exactly a delivery report, but does the job.

Delivery report can be obtained on o2 by putting *R* at the start of your text message when sent via the native texting app.

If the message fails a red mark comes up beside the message
and it will keep trying the send until it works

No need for delivery report if message sends ok.
