I would suggest you try Fitzpatricks shoes in the CHQ building in the IFSC (opposite Harbourmaster and at Georges Quay luas stop). They have a great range of the styles you are looking for. Quality leather office type shoes. They are a little on the pricey side but you know you are not getting just leather uppers with their products. (They also have a shop in Grafton St but I don't know what their selection of mens shoes are). Brown Thomas of course would have a good selection as does Arnotts.

on second thoughts, OP are you a bloke? not certain from your name or post? Fitzpatrick's do ladies as well if you aren't!

You can't go wrong with Fitzpatricks. The Grafton St. store also has a nice selection.

Alternatively, you can try TK Maxx in Stephens Green SC. They often have excellent shoes at reduced prices purely because they're "out of season", though generally, I don't feel mens formal shoes go out of season.

I picked up a pair of black, lace-up Loakes there for 100E (reduced from 180).

Edit: Made the same assumption as the previous poster, apologies :o
