    Hi All,

I am going to Work in Mauratania and I am just wondering will I have to pay tax in Ireland also. I am subject to 15% tax over there and am not sure whether or not it will apply here. I will be working on a 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off basis, returning to Ireland on the 3 weeks off. This work is said to last for 2/5 years. If anyone out there can enlighten me on this subject i would greatly appreciate, thanks.

It depends on where your residence is, and partly depends on whether you send the money back to Ireland.

    Get a tax advisor.

I presume my residence would still be Ireland, I own a house here and am co-habiting with my partner. I plan to keep up my PRSI contributions and the money I earn will be sent to an AIB bank account,
