She was elected in the dublin (north?) central by-election of last year....its my constituency.

    Haven't hear of her since.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything she has done since being elected, what she has been doing to justify her td's wage.

I haven't heard of her myself. I keep an eye on my own TDs with http://www.kildarestreet.com. You can run a search for any TD and it will tell you the last time they were asking questions or such like in the Dáil.
You could also just email her, or see if she runs clinics during the week.

    According to the site above:
    Thursday, 18 November 2010

    Maureen O'Sullivan (Dublin Central, Independent)

Question 144: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he is satisfied all aspects of animal welfare are being considered by the Ward Union in relation to moving deer along.

So it seems that she is doing something!

Ask her. Send her a mail/letter asking the following
    • On what issues have you voted in favour of or against the government
    • What submissions have you made to the Dail
    • What questions have you asked in the Dail
    • Are you involved in any committees and in what way have you contributed to these committees
    • What is your attendance record at voting
    • What else have you done as my representative in the Dail.

Edit: and what reallyrose said above ^

    So go to her
You are a constituent, head along to a clinic and you will be listened to.
Or maybe you won't be listened to but at least this is info you have next time you vote

Edit, if you're involved in any local groups OP and have meetings you can invite her there.

she took over Tony Gregory's (RIP) seat and was part of his organisation I think

as she is not supporting the Government she is not really in any position to blackmail a la others!!

I presume she is active locally on the sorts of issues her predecessor was

In relation to salary I think she may be one of those not taking the full amount for herself

I voted for her myself in the by-election. Haven't heard a word about her either, though thankfully she hasn't supported the government.

AFAIK she has voted with the government on one or two crucial votes - same with Finian McGrath after he broke with the government.

She'll get my number two anyway.

Maureen has done a enormous amount of work since her election, it is just she goes about it quietly and doesn't blow her own trumpet, like some other politicians. Look at her website www.maureenosullivan.ie
