    Hi all , this 4 mile race is being held in the village of Moyglass, Fethard, Co.TIPP on new year's day. The coarse is measured by jones counter on quiet rural roads. It is regarded as a fast coarse with a coarse record of 18.36 set by Sean Hughes OF Thurles Crokes sometime in the late 80's /early 90's. There is only one hill of note between 3/4 - 1mile. This race usually attracts a field of 100 or so with prizes for the first 5 men and women . There are prize's in all cat's. Race HQ is the new sports centre in Moyglass where there is plenty of free parking,hot showers and plenty of soup, sandwiches ,cake and tea and coffee. So why not come join us on the 1/1/11@11 and start the new year on a good note and maybe a p.b:) Entry fee €8.

    Moyglass is the ancestral home land of "NED KELLY" so there will be a special prize for the first person across the line in a ned kelly costume. The village is easy to reach ;

    killkenny 50 min via killenaule.
    Dublin 1hr20 via motorway ,horse and jockey exit.
    Cork 55-1 hr via motorway, cashel exit.
    waterford 50 min via carrick/ killsheelan.
    Limerick 50-1 hr via Tipptown- cashel.
