Is there anyway that you can have profile privacy at 100% by means of only being visibile to myself. Or is there settings where you can switch of recent posts?

There is an invisible mode whereby others can't see when you're logged in. There's no way to hide posts however.

To turn on the invisible mode go to the UserCP, then click on Edit Options under Settings & Options. It's the tick box at the very top, just make sure you scroll to the bottom to save your changes.
