    Agh!

Don't get me even started on the timetable. The administration of this college is a complete ****-up this year.

I'd ****ing hate that. Unlucky. :(

I'd say they done it to ease stress or something, I know I'd rather to have them all done before xmas instead of not enjoying it.

I hope stress isn't their reason,if so its a terrible one,how anyone can have a stress free christmas with exams after is beyond me?

(although I won't be stressing,I refuse to look at a book till january)

According to the SU, the LC results came out late this year which pushed everything back a week, so the registrar decided this was the only way things would work. It's a trial this year, thinks it'll reduce stress and make things easier so it might be implemented for further years :(

the exams are fairly late in December and fairly early in January, my last exams is Dec. 22nd, and trying to work leading up to that now will be a bitch, esp when were expected to work in the industry during the college year!

It depends entirely on your course and whether you have finish the set curriculum in time.

Personally, I think it is a good idea. Not sure what year other posters are in or what level their exams are in terms of difficulty but these are my finals and if I slip up on one exam my honours degree is immediately capped to a pass degree even if I passed the repeat and had an average of 99.9%. Not to mention that they are incredibly hard and have the same difficulty level of professional exams (if not harder) that have failure rates of 70%.

Last year the people doing my course had 6 exams, 6 days in a row -Monday to Saturday.

I think this will answer your question as to why some are before and some are after christmas.
