Was talking to one of my friends over the w/end who plays for St Marys who said not one of Junior teams has lost a League match this season.
Had a quick look at the tables it is true they are Unbeaten in every league from J1-J5 - that is some consistency.

their seniors have lost a few, plus they lost the leinster cup to UCD at the weekend. CLontarf and St. Mary's 2nds both unbeaten all season, they were due to play last night but was cancelled due to Leinster final on sunday.

True but to have 5 teams from J1-J5 unbeaten with an average of 5/6 league games each is excellent.

Fair focks to Marys, they are a great club. Always compete at every level and have no culture of ringers or stacking.

That said, I intend to take a scalp off that record in a few weeks... ;)

St. Marys, it has to be said are an very well run club. I have never played out there, but its very consistent to be unbeaten at so many levels. Lansdowne are another club who seem to have depth throughout the club.

UCD seem to be doing well of late also, the firsts and seconds both have 100% records, J2 are poor and J4 mixed bag.

wouldnt have thought lansdowne are doing too well, their firsts are doing shocking this season considering they have by far the strongest squad in the AIL they've lost 3 out of 5 AIL games.

Lansdowne have a tendancy to stack some teams though - they had a J3 team that won 3 doubles in a row - you can be sure very few of them if any were available for selection for their J1 or J2 teams. Marys teams are consistent all the way through the grades- if you are good enough you will be made move up.

They've actually won 3 (including a record 53-0 win against Shannon) and lost 2. :D

May be wrong, but it looks like he meant Lansdowne, not Mary's
