I'm upgrading, can I just take the hard drive 1TB out of my 13'mbp and pop it into a new 15'mpb?

Also which is the better buy?

Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    15.4-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display
    4GB memory
    320GB Hard Drive
    8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
    SD card slot
    Built-in 7-hour battery
    NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 256MB
    Illuminated keyboard

    or

Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core i5

    15.4-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display (1440 x 900 pixel)
    4GB (2 x 2GB) of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
    320GB Serial ATA @ 5400 rpm
    8x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory

It will mainly be used for adobe creative suite (photoshop etc) and normal office work. Both laptops are around the same price.

Would ideally like a 17' but there a bit out of budget on the apple site.

    tks dm

Yes you can replace the hard drives as they are both SATA.

The 2.4GHz is a much better machine as it has the new i5 processor, the extra 2.66GHz would not make a noticeable difference so go with the i5. Will work seamlessly with CS.

If you want a bigger screen you could opt for a monitor also, should pick up a 24" for around 200-400, I found the 17" to be too small for real hardcore work and too big for traveling, I think a monitor is a good compromise.
