I have applied to DCU through PAC.

They have a rule that you must get your supporting documentation in less than 10 days after application.

Mine got there 12 days after because of the weekend.

Do you know if there is any flexibility or will my application now go in the bin.

    Thanks

I regularly submit applications for DCU to PAC on behalf of foreign students. There is considerable leeway on this within reason. There is no reason for you to assume your carefully prepared documents will end up in the bin. I think any University would have a serious issue with PAC in such an event.

Thanks for these posts. Had a similar experience to Chocolate. Glad to hear that things should be OK. I have to say though that its almost impossible and impracticle to get a school to commit for placement for subjects over a year ahead! Madness!! Best of luck Chocolate!!:)

I'm in the second year of the course now in DCU - it's a tough course to get into and an even tougher course to make it into second year..our class started off with over 70 people in 1st year of it and in the 2nd year there's now just over 60 of us...it's a high % of people not coming back or repeating...

Start saving now..I got stung when I got offered a place through PAC...they wanted 1000 euro paid within two weeks of accepting the place!! In my excitement of being offered the place, I accepted it and then realised I needed to come up with 1000 euro!!!
