    Hi all,
I do hate these sort of things generally but this struck a chord with me, a lady at work sent out an email about this yesterday. Yesterday they were 3rd in the poll, today they are 2nd  If you spare a few mins of your time you could really help make a miracle happen for three Irish kids, please do. Info and details below......... (mods, I don't know if this is against any forum rules or not but if it is apologies :), I'll take the spanking )..........

‘Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood’ is a very rare severe neurological disorder affecting 650 children worldwide, three of those in Ireland.
It causes paralysis which affects different parts of the body or all of the body and can last minutes, days and sometimes weeks.
The name is a misnomer as it lasts into adulthood. It comes on suddenly with just a week or so between episodes -sometimes shorter.
It impairs motor development and speech and currently there is no known cure.
Because the numbers affected are so low, very little fundraising is done as the support network is small in comparison to other disorders.

Pepsi Cola are running a voting competition to fund research up to $250,000. The winner will be allocated these funds.

Below is the link to help by getting the funds allocated to ‘AHC’. The more people who vote, the better the chances are of getting the vital research to find a cure.
You will be able to vote several times a day. As you will see this runs until November 30th.
Please, please, Pass this on to as many people as possible- It is important that as many people as possible vote.

    Beginning November 1, 2010, go to http://www.refresheverything.com/

In the search area (upper right) type in AHC Foundation

You'll see our idea. Click gray "Vote for this idea" button

Create an account (free) or sign into existing one (click on facebook and then you can vote through that, also stick a link on your facebook page and all your friends may also vote).

Go on go on go on

    Hello Rover,
While I recognise this is for a good cause AH is not really the place for this and of course no matter who wins somebody else loses in terms of where the funding goes.
I would think it best, in this case, to leave the promotion of this to Pepsi.
