Hey folks, do people think this is good value? (Not sure if the link will show but its the Opel Astra 2010 1.3 Diesel. I'm trading in my car (a 2001 2 litre Peugeot 406 coupe), so the price to switch is €16,500.

Was thinking of switching fairly soon, as the car is more ecenomical and cheaper to run than my own. Do prices of second hand cars automatically drop from 1 January? Or are the priced at this time of year as if the were a year older?

My personal opinion would be to wait until the new year.Buying an new car this time of the year would be nuts. Also you never know what the budget my throw up!!!!:(

The Sport Hatch feels very cramped to drive and wouldn't be high on my list of motors to go for. Will be economical, but the 1.3CDti is nothing, nothing, nothing, torque, nothing etc. so it's not enjoyable either.

Also, Sport Hatch is being replaced in 2011 so will be old model very soon.

Ex. Demo Focus 1.6Tdi Style would be a better bet imho.
