    Please vote whenever the next election comes, either now or in January! We might not have much power anyway, but at least its a small bit of ability to shape things. Don't know who I will vote for, just know it won't be FFail. If you don't vote, or bother registering, you should not complain about the economy. Even to those who can't see an alternative party that is worthwhile, at least go along and spoil your vote, even this sends a message. Last day to register to vote is Thursday coming:

    No it isn't.

    The last day to get on the Draft Register of Electors is this Thursday coming, using form RFA1. You can get on the Supplementary Register of Electors up to 15 Working Days before the election is held, using form RFA2, which must be witnessed by a member of An Garda Siochana.

    I would agree absolutely. The vote is the only weapon we have. We don't get a chance to use it very often so when we do, we should think long about what we want and then use it unsparingly.
