    Hi,

Anyone know via cheapest place to buy a Nespresso machine, and also where to buy the cheapest pods for it?

    Thanks

Haven't seen any Nespresso bargains, but Argos have a Philips Senseo pod machine reduced to €50.59

The same machine is £50-60 on amazon and seems to have decent reviews. Pods are Douwe Egberts coffee which I have always found to be decent.

    Folks,

If trying to make cappacinos with the froth milky top would this do the job?

Cheapest place for machine is Home & Cook in Kildare Outlets.

No cheapest place for pods - you buy them direct or from nepresso shops. About 36c each.

But for a great cup of coffee with no messing, it actually worth it. IMO:D

Ebay have compatible capsules, loads of sellers have them. As for the cappuchino cups- shop around even Tesco had them discounted recently. We use straightforward Bodum cups- they weren't cheap- but they clean easily and the pyrex doesn't break (well, I'm sure it does- only we thankfully haven't broken it).

Saw some in the sale in Harvey Norman, think they were €99 (just checked website and see some starting @€;99). Would imagine other retailers (did, powercity, curry's) would have 'm in their sale now as well...

    -edit-
Nevermind the "sale" same machine £65 (=€80) on amazon...

I got the Pixie machine and separate milk frother for cappuccino... It makes fantastic coffee - the frothy milk is great and can also be used for hot milk in lattes
