The dolphil bill in December is gonna be a christmas cracker!!! Willie Casey and Dean Byrne are added to this bill... http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=609761 as reported on http://www.boxing-ireland.com/20101122_dean_byrne_willie_casey_56.html

Anthony Fitzgerald tops the bill as he fights for the wbf intercontinental title. Should he get through that the bui have ordered a rematch with Lee Murtagh as their last scrap ended in a no contest and left the fans with more questions than answers.

Cuban sensations Alexei Collado and Mike Perez are back in action and look to extended their unbeaten records as do Pajo Hyland and Paddy McDonagh.
Paddys younger brother JJ is also on the bill and looks to get back to winning ways, he was last seen on the dolphil bill in august getting ko'd by a right hand left hook combo by tommy tolan. Up until that point JJ had put on a boxing clinic it must be said but Tolan came in in the best shape of his career and outweighed McDonagh by almost 10 pounds.

Christina McMahon will look to make it 2 for 2, the former kickboxing world champion looked very good on her debut in August as her opponent threw the towel in during round three.

Debutant Noel O Brien and Gavin "pimpernel" Prunty complete the stacked card. Prunty fought in Limerick on the big bang theory card and although he dropped a decision to his Latvian opponent, the decision may have went his way if it was not for the flash knockdown he suffered in the second. There is very little room for these tiny errors in 4 rounders as Prunty learned the hard way but the skateboarder turned boxer has the fitness to move up the 6 rounders now.

Should be a great nights action :)

Hyland, Perez and Alexie are off the card now according to boxrec.
Would have been too big of a line up for a non televised show anyway.
Hopefully that will free up some funds for a proper opponent for Byrne.

So does anyone have any oppo names to throw in the hat for casey? what would you hope he gets out of the fight? 10 or so rounds in the bag, an early highlight real ko?

I reckon a pressure fighter with not as much pop as kiko and an iron chin would be perfect over 10.
