    ok,heres the story...

earlier this morning i jailbroke my iphone 4 (iOS 4.1) with limera1n and everything went well or so i thought.
i downloaded a few apps from cydia and one or two wouldnt work for me so i deleted them, since that none of my original apps would work,no interaction,no scrolling down/selecting stuff etc.

so i just tried to restore the phone to its original settings to remove the jailbreak and install the newer 4.2 software on the phone but now im just getting a message saying the phone could not be restored error 1013...

as it is now,the phone is stuck on the recovery screen (itunes logo & usb lead)...what the feck have i done??
please tell me i havent bricked it??

any help would be hugely appreciated people...thanks

    http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/

Download the windows or mac version depending on your OS, run it & connect iPhone to computer.
TinyUmbrella should see it & allow you to "kick device out of recovery"

This will get you sorted :)

that "kicking out of recovery" isnt working, well it IS kicking it out of recovery but it still wont complete the Restore option in iTunes...

tried the holding power + hold trick a few times aswell

Be more careful and back up your phone using tinyumbrella before you try to jailbreak it again!
