Bought an iTouch 4g 32gb today and want to know which audio format is better aac 320kbps or mp3 320kbps. Did some searching but want find out the opinion on the boards. If aac is better i'l get songs and albums off the iTunes store.

AAC should sound better for the same file size, however I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference at 320k. Down at 128 or 160 you might be able to tell. The advantage of MP3 is that everything plays them. I just stick with 256 or 320k mp3s myself.

mp3 files can be ported anywhere, I always convert to mp3 instead of AAC when importing a CD to iTunes for that reason.
