Without any more details - about €3K a month. God knows how much with the budget next month though.

I would be slightly concerned that you're thinking you're going to be employed in a job that pays 50k that you can't find a tax calculator, of which there are plenty online, and enter in your personal details.

It totally depends on your circumstances: are you married, sole-parenting, old, paying for dependent parents care ... any of these can make a substantial difference to how much you're taxed (at the current time, anyway).

Could you give us a example?

here is a rough calculation, everybody is allowed to earn up to 36400 per year at the lower rate of tax 20% anything after that will be taxed at the higher rate of 41% so here is how it will work out for you

    the first 36400 taxed at 20% paye = 7280
the remaining 13600 will be taxed at 41% = 5576

so total paye paid will be 12856 so minus that from 50 thou

not forgetting to take into account yo still have to pay prsi and income levy im to lazy to calculate it at the mo lol (been a long day) you calculate it in similar way at 2% 4% 8% its bout 6 1500 at a guess so basically assuming you are a single person and not self employed you are looking at roughly 35644 per anum thats around 742 take home per week hope this was helpful :-)
