What are they checking for on the Airbags now at the tests? Is it just the LED which needs to turn on and then off after switching on the ignition, or are they checking it further, like connecting to a computer to see if its error free and if it works? What are they checking for on the Airbags now at the tests? Is it just the LED which needs to turn on and then off after switching on the ignition, or are they checking it further, like connecting to a computer to see if its error free and if it works?

Just wondering, car failed bc the LED wasn't turning on, found out the LED was scratched off the circuit board and didn't work at all... The car was crashed and one airbag is gone, that's why someone did this instead of fixing it.

I'm afraid it's against the charter to give advice on how to cheat the NCT, particularly with something as safety-critical as airbags.
