Can anyone recommend me a long lasting lipstick? Preferably one that doesn't make my lips feel like a crayon, like the maybelline and illamasqua ones! I tried the dior ones and they're good but last about 4 hours, hoping for something to last longer

I find MAC lipsticks last the longest, although some of their matte ones can be a little chalky. Also I have some 17 ones that last for hours, although they can be a little hit and miss. Their lipstick in Pink Power is long lasting anyway, I've sometimes woken up still wearing it!

Have you tried a lip primer? It might allow you to wear the Maybelline and Illamasqua ones comfortably.

I have a number 7 one which is more of a stain and a gloss, but it is extremely long lasting, I can put it one before i go out and not have to fix it all night (..and it's still there the next day!)

If you have access to a Sephora I can't recommend their lipsticks enough. Extremely long lasting, but also moisturising at the same time. They almost stain your lips rather than just sitting on top of the skin.
